We continue to use the traditional methods when re-soling shoes with either leather or rubber. We will heel and sole shoes, repair broken straps etc.
We use hard wearing heels for shoes with small cross section heels (such as stilettoes, kitten).
When repairing stiletto heels we always remove the pin from the original heel. Often this is left in position and ground flush to the heel before the new heel is put into position. This practice limits the number of repairs the shoe can have, and can sometimes cause the heel to split.
